Kopřivná is a municipality and village in Šumperk District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants. The hamlet of Lužná is an administrative part of Kopřivná. The original German name Geppersdorf was derived from the personal name of the lokator of the village. The Czech name was created in 1846, when the German letter "g" was replaced by similarly sounding Czech "kopř-", thus the new name was Kopřinov. Wikipedia
